Black Diamond Gallery
The Black Diamond Gallery is the showpiece of the Port Community Arts Centre. It is a 13.5m by 7m, heritage-listed facility that is air-conditioned, has up-to-date hanging and lighting systems and is also wheelchair accessible. It is located in the northern end of the old police station building which now houses the Visitor Information Centre (VIC), also. The polished wooden floor and light, airy spaciousness of the gallery provides an ideal and attractive venue that would handsomely showcase any artist’s work.
How do you hire the Black Diamond Gallery ?
The gallery is available for hire to PCAC members and members of the public at very reasonable rates. Included with gallery hire are a number of white plinths, of various sizes, four trestle tables and four chairs. If hirers wish to have an opening night we have 100 wine glasses available for hire, at $20 per night.
To hire the gallery
1. Firstly, check the appropriate exhibition calendar to see if your desired dates are available 2. Download a Gallery Plan if you think it will assist the planning of your exhibition 3. Now download the Gallery Booking Form & Conditions of Hire, read it to ensure you are fully conversant with the conditions of hire and then complete the booking form and mail to:

Gallery hire fees Members - $120 /week Non-members - $150/Week
A deposit of 20% may be paid at the time of booking and the balance must be paid at least fourteen days prior to the event.
